  1. Hi I created this by creating and editing an override. 1. In your templates/[templatename]/html fiolder, create a new folder called mod_bt_contentslider 2. Now go to the /modules/ master folder and copy the file called /modules/mod_bt_contentslider/tmpl/default.php 3. Place the copy in your newly created templates/[templatename]/html/mod_bt_contentslider folder and call the copy default.php 3. Edit this default.php file as noted above. Cheers! Chris
  2. Hi Ron I found the code snippet ?> <div class="bt-cs-no-result">No result...</div> <script type="text/javascript"> jQuery(document).ready(function(){ jQuery(".bt-cs-no-result").parents("section").hide(); }); </script> <?php } ?> which is added under the closing } else { and which replaces the standard { echo '<div>No result...</div>'; } ?> needs to be changed, depending on what template you are using. I use FireBug to see what the parent div/section is called and then adapt the line: jQuery(".bt-cs-no-result").parents("section").hide(); to suit. So, on one of my sites, the code containing the BT_CS looks like this: <div id="nav-line" style="display: none;"> <div class="row-fluid"> <div class="span12"> <div id="brcr"> <div class="bt-cs-no-result jmoddiv" data-jmodtip="<strong>..... blah blah so that is now looks like this: ?> <div class="bt-cs-no-result">No result...</div> <script type="text/javascript"> jQuery(document).ready(function(){ jQuery(".bt-cs-no-result").parents("div#nav-line").hide(); }); </script> <?php } ?> This works every time, simply remember to look for the parent div using a developer too and use that in the code. Good luck Chris
  3. I must be bing dumb as I cannot find a way to define what the "Default Image" will be if there is no image in the Article. Do I simply replace the no-image.jpg file in /modules/mod_bt_contentslider/images it might be good for future use to offer an upload option?
  4. We like the page load fade when moving between menu choices but would like to either remove fade (one customer finds any delay irritating) or simply reduce the fade out/in timer. Can this be done?
  5. Thanks! I would never have known!
  6. Hi When I log in to the FE of my site (, I do not see the edit icon appear when I hover over a module. The settings in Global Config are correct (Mouse-over Edit Icons for : Modules) and the account I login with is superuser level. Is there an additional setting required to enable this in BT Medical? Chris
  7. My customer wants a way to pull in Reviews from Google+ Reviews. Is this available from Bowthemes? Chris
  8. Yes, I know its called Content "Slider" but I would love it if I could somehow make the animation fade from item to item. When I have a 1 row, 1 column grid, a fade rather than slide would be great. Can this be done at all? Chris
  9. Hi, I use BTContent Slider to show categories of content and its perfect. Do you have a similar extn that will pull in an RSS feed and display it with its title and a link to the source feed? Hope so! Chris
  10. Wow! That's perfect! Can I suggest that in a future version of BTCS you include an admin option to "Hide container on no results"? Would that work? Maybe not? Many many thanks! Chris
  11. Hi I love your work and use BTCS on many sites so thanks! Meanwhile, I suspect this is not possible as this relates to the parent selector DIV. You will be familiar with the general behaviour for returning no results: the PHP script proivides: if(count($list)>0){?> ... ... else { echo '<div>No result...</div>'; } ?> And in the site HTML output I get <section data-uk-grid-margin="" data-uk-grid-match="{target:'> div > .uk-panel'}" class="tm-spotlight uk-width-1-1 uk-clearfix"> <div class=""> <div>No result...</div> </div> </section> It works in that if there is no data returned to BTCS, the site presents "No results" but I wanted to make the parent container [section in this case] hidden if BTCS returns no results. I know I can use a message such as "No results" but I would rather hide the module altogether. Any suggestions? Chris
  12. Update: if I create a CSS rule .slides_control {width:auto!important} then I can solve the problem, but I have used BT Slider on may occasions and not seen this issue before. Any comments?
  13. Hi, Joomla 2.5.24 with BT Slider 2.3.5 here. My understanding is that setting to width=auto will ensure the module will fill the width of the parent div? Well, I have set width to auto.... BUT setting the columns to "1" always forces the width of the module to maximum, even though it is configured as auto. This pushes or squeezes the main K2 component over (bad!) If I set Cols > 1 (i.e. 2,3 or 4) the width of the module is fine and I see the selected number of columns. The width issue only happens when setting Cols = 1. You can see this issue at this development site: 1 Column Problem : 2 Columns OK : Hope you can help please?
  14. I have 20 or more images which will become links to 20 or more destination pages or external sites (easy). The images are 160px x 160px. I would like to bring 6 onto the stage in a single row. Then, after a timer, I want the first to move left off the stage and the 7th to enter the stage from the right. In otherwords, rather than move 6 at a time, using NumCols = 6. I want 6 cols to show but only move them a column at a time. This way, there are always 6 in view and they simply shunt across the stage, one at a time. Can BT CS support this? If not, can you suggest anything ? Thanks in advance! Chris
