  1. Hi, I managed to create a multilingual button myself and to get rid of that silly image with text on it :) If someone would like to know how to do it, feel free to send me an email to hello@webdesign-labor.de and I will give you the code, the css and the language file. But I would like to say that it is a bit ridiculous to put an image with a text on it in an extension that could be used by anyone in any country. Not the whole world is native English speaking. Now I am looking for how to change the "Search by" in the extended search. I can translate the first string but the word "Category", Author" etc, I cannot find. It is no problem if someone just speaks English, but it is not really comfortable to avoid translatable strings in a code and to provide a propper langauge file for the front- and backend. And inline-css in a single tag is quite uncomfortable as well. What's the problem giving the tag a calss and put it in your css file? And, even worse, advanced search in the tooltip is hard-coded in the default.php file. And what is worst, it has a spelling arror... Not your best work you ever did, buddy! Quite annoying... I bought quite some of your professional extensions for this project and I am amazed that this one is done so unprofessionally. Best regards, Rob van Linda
  2. Hello, I just installed the Smart Search Module for my client. It is very impressing and posh :) The website of my client is multilingual. It is no problem to copy the English language file and to change it in a German one. But the Button "Search" is an image and that can't be translated. I would like to know it the button "Start search" can be changed in a styled string which can me in German and English. Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards, Rob van Linda
  3. Is it possible to add a route planner to this module? I want visitors, who visit the site with a mobile device, to be able to find thewir way to the adress of my client. Thanks for your help. Best regards, Rob van Linda
  4. hello there, when Linking an article with an image in the BT background Slideshow there wont be a search engline optimized url in the browser adress field. It the an option to change this? SEO is aneabled in the Joomla installation. Thanks in advance for your help. Best regards, Rob van Linda
  5. Hi, wow this is really great news. Now I can show off to the chinese web designers ;) Thanks a lot for your support. B.t.w.: I love your extensions. I bought BT Google maps last nicht and it looks very nice http://hartung.webdesign-labor.de/kontakt.html Don't look at the design because there will be oversized background images and I am still waiting for them. On the home site you can see the slideshow. Best regards, Rob van Linda
  6. Hello there, I have a special issue. My client is a consulting company whith branches in China, Malaysia, India and Germany. TheChinese branche had their website re-designed and they use Contao as a CMS The branche in Germany wants the same design but doesn't want to use Contao because their current website is in Joomla as well and they are used to this system. Now I was asked to copy the design and develop it so it will work in Joomla. I did it and the site looks exactly the same as the Chinese site :) Now we discovered that the titles of the slideshow of the Chinese site changes the colur of the titles over the lager background puictures in their slideshow. Dark pictures have a light font color and the light ones a dark font color. In the Chinese site the administrator has to insert HTML code in an article which will show the slideshow. A div-container with the large backgriund image and a div-container inside with the title. Very bad solution is my optinion. The title div gets different classes so the colur can be modified. In the BT Background it want to achieve the same effect. Now I have had a look at the code and I discovered that the images are not in a list. If that would have been te case, I could have used nt:child css to give the titles different colors. Is there a possibility to give the titles different colors? It would be great if that would be so. Thank you in advance for your help! Best regards, Rob van Linda
  7. Give the menu item, which is linked to the startpage a specific css class. Than put something like this in your css file: body.class-of-your-body .the-class-of-the-container-maincontent { display: none; } To be able to do this, you need to insert some php code in the index.php of your template!!! I will show you here: BEFORE THE DOCTYPE!!! <?php defined( '_JEXEC' ) or die; // variables $app = JFactory::getApplication(); $doc = JFactory::getDocument(); $params = &$app->getParams(); $pageclass = $params->get('pageclass_sfx'); $tpath = $this->baseurl.'/templates/'.$this->template; $this->setGenerator(null); ?> <!DOCTYPE html> and in the body-tag you insert this: class="body<?php echo $pageclass ? htmlspecialchars($pageclass) : 'default'; ?>" Now save it and go to your website. When you look at the source code, you will see that the body-tag has a class now: <body class="body"> Now you go to the menu-item in your navigation in the backend of your Joomla installation and open it to administer the specific item. In the tab "Advanced Options" you will see "Page Display Options". Klick on that item and the accordion will open and you will see a field called "Page Class". Insert a class name there (remeber to put and underscore " _ " (without the quotes!!!) before it) and use this class in your css. Now lets say you inserted "_startsite". Now the body of the statsite of your website will have the class "body_startsite". If you use this in your CSS File you just code: .body_startsite .maincontent (or whatever class your container with the maincontent has) { display: none; } Now the container wont appear on your startpage but it will be shown on all other pages. You can set a classname for all your menu-items and so you are able to style each page of your website different and individually. Just have a look at the image I attached. If you have a question, just send me an email. Good luck and have fun coding and styling :) Best regards, Rob van Linda
  8. Solved it by a diffrent positioning of the main content. But thank you for your support :) Best regards, Rob van Linda
  9. Hi there, I just bought the slidehsow and it works like a charm But when I want to use the option "Slideshow Size: Wrapper Element" my Joomla article shoves down The content of the sidebar stays where it should be I have a html5 responsive and W3C valid grid where can I look in the module to solve this problem? I would like to add the option "background-size: contain" if possible. Or can I change the unit from "px" into "%"? Thanks in advance for your support. Best regards, Rob van Linda
