BT Arise Quick Start for Joomla 2.5 Installation problem

53 posts in this topic

Hi,

I have downloaded latest BT Arise Quick Start for Joomla 2.5 and trying to install it on my localhost. But the installation stuck at Step 4. It creates 34 tables in database and than don't go to Step 5.

I followed all the steps mentioned here : http://bowthemes.com/how-to-install-bow-themes-template-quickstart-pack.html but no luck.

It seems like many users are having same problem (http://bowthemes.com/bt-arise-corporate-joomla-template/2175-can-t-install-quick-start-pack-j2.5-step-4-to-5-error.html) but there is no proper solution available.

Please help.

Thanks

Open your \installation\sql\mysql\joomla.sql file with notepad or notepad++ or something same text editor and change all INNODB text to MYISAM. Your mysql server too new or modern for this quickstart package

Hi all,

We've upgrade the latest version of BT Arise. Please download and install again. Version of mysql in quickstart package is 5.5.16.

If you can not install quickstart package. Please install the template and extensions then follow the instructions in the document.

Thanks.

Alguém tem alguma novidade? Este pacote "quickstart" está com este defeito. Tanto a versão 1.1 quanto a 1.0 apresentam o mesmo problema. Independentemente da versão do mysql no computador do usuário.

The first problem was that the installation of bt_arise_quickstart_j! 25_v1.1 crashed in step 4, creation of the database. I solved that by replacing joomla.sql sending attachment, and replacing the terms by MYISAM for InnoDB.

However, others emerged. Are errors with BT-login and BT-CONTENSLIDER.

I send the print screen for you to observe. Pointing errors in specific files on lines *. Php them.

Help me, please. I'm working on localhost.

I will write here the errors and sending the screens for you to see.

I am trying to install BT Arise template via Quickstart package.

Running on Ubuntu 12.04 server which is updated with all the latest daily patches.

The installation runs just fine, but after I have deleted the installation directory in the last step, I can only log into the backend (where everything seems fine).

When I try to view the frontend however, there is nothing. A blank white page and that´s it. No error message, nothing. Just blank white page.

Help would be appreciated.
