I can not upload images?

Hi tronghm,

THank you for your help. I was able to sort it out. The 777 permission did not cascade to the other folder. There was one image subfolder in the temp that did not have the 777 persmission.

THank you again for your time.

Hi!

I want to use the background sllder with joomla 2.5.7. The slider works correctly in a lokal installation with Mamp. Unfortunately it doesn´t work on my website "http://www.geschicht...ansichten.html". In the backend I get the message "Files can not be saved" What shall I do?

Best regards!

PS

Unfortunately i´m not familiar with "Global Configuration", "Console" and so on.

Hi Bernd.

I checked your problem.

Reason of this problem may be your folder's permission.

Please check these folder permission

/mod_bt_backgroundslideshow

---/images

-------/slideshow

-------/thumbnail

-------/manager

-------/orginial

-------/tmp

-------------/original

-------------/manager

They should be 755.

Hi,

I had the same problem. I discovered that when the module was installed it failed to create the manager and original folders inside the module images/tmp folder. I created them manually and it now works fine.

Hope this helps.
