[Solved] relocating main nav position

16 posts in this topic

Hi,

Is it possible to move the main nav position right on top of the bt_tab position so that the slideshow is just right above the main nav.

Thank you very much.

Hi,

can you tell me clearer about it:

you want to move only main menu or header block (logo, menu, search, login...), because you said that you want to move "mainnav", but in image, you move header block

Hi Kien,

Sorry for that. I meant the whole thing on top main nav including header block (logo, menu, search, login...). Thank you very much Kien.

Hi,

you may try that:

open file: templates/bt_travel/css/custom.css, add:

.has-bg-home .t3-header {
margin-bottom: 10px;
margin-top: 325px;
}

change value of margin as you want.

Thanks a lot Kien, you're very helpful. That worked. Just one more thing, can i move position bt_tab right under main nav including header block (logo, menu, search, login...).

Because after moving down main nav, there is a big white space between main nav and position tab.

Thanks!

hmmmm, so strange, only use style:

.has-bg-home .t3-header {

margin-bottom: 10px;

margin-top: 325px;

}

it'll work, did you follow correct my guide?, add in custom.css?

Hi Kien,

Yes i followed your styling exactly. I think it's because from your original design there is a space between the main nav and the bt_tab position. What i want to do is remove the space so that bt_tab is right under the main nav. I am thinking it has to do something with the top margin of bt_tab but i can't find it.

THank you always =)

Hi Kien,

Thank you so much for your assistance. I was able to sort it out by changing the values in .has-bg-home .t3-header{

margin-bottom:445px;

}

One more thing, how can I have a full background on the header. I saw a post about it but the file to be replaced is not included in the post.
