Images cover my content - how to solve?

30 posts in this topic

Hi all,

Depending on your template css that you have different ways to modify. Often, you should decrease z-index of module Background slideshow. You should try to set background-color for your content to make sure the content is front or behind the slideshow.

If you can't figure it out. Please send your site url and access details to email extensions@bowthemes.com. We will help you fix it.

Sorry for late answer. We can't answer some questions on the weekend.

Best regards,

Hung Truong

Hi Maria.

I'm sorry your mail is sent to spam folder. So i can't see it.

Today, i checked your site and see that your nav position has problem.

If you put the module on this position. It appears two times.

So i put it on "debug" position.

But your div "#fav-container" has white background, so you can't see BT Background Slideshow.

please remove this style

Now it appears under your content except its caption.

You can fix it by increase your div "wrapper-inner" z-index to 6

http://prntscr.com/4qdist

Enjoy it.

Hi Wolfgang.

Thanks for using our extension.

First, let me edit your post to hide your admin account. It should be sent to use via private message ;)

Second, because your configuration is not correct.if you set "Slideshow Size" by "Window", you should set "Wrapper Element" by "body" not "#header.row"

Beside it, "#header.row" isn't available, i think it must be "#header-row"

If you don't want to display background full screen you can set "Slideshow Size" by "Wrapper Element" and set "Wrapper Element" by "#header-row" as I tried.

But i see the module not good enough.

So please try it by your self or give me your idea i help you.

Thanks

Hi Hung,

thank you for prompt reply. As the side is under construction I didn't worry to much about credentials and I made it easier for my customer. I'm going to change web-server an login details at all.

I changed "Slideshow Size" to "Window" and wrapper element changes automtically to "body". That's fine but now I faced problems with teh "Menu Assignment".

Even if I toggled all menu items of "Main Menu" slideshow is only visible on homepage and related sub-menu.

As well I tried to switch off navigation but is still shown on the bottom of HP.

I_m going to use this joomla template for further projects. What have I to do that "slideshow" isn't hiding the content?

Regards

Wolfgang

May I wish you a happy new year? I guess your celebrations aren't not today like here in Europe.

Hi guys,

I'm facing the same problem here. Installed and setup the module alright and it seems to be working fine except for overlapping the entire body. I've read all the posts here and tried it all. I'm building the site locally so no URL. I can tell you that the module is set in position "debug", "Slideshow size" -> "Window", "Wrapper Element" -> "Body". I'm using Helix 3 as the framework for this site.

Will appreciate your help here. Thank you in advance,

Guy.

Hi.

Maybe you need to change z-index of your HTML element.

For example, all your website element is wrapped by a DIV that have id "main" like this

<html>

<head>...</head>

<body>

<div id="main">All content here</div>

<div id="bt-background-slideshow">All images of the slideshow here</div>

</html>

You need to find main Div and get its CSS or exactly id or class.

Then add this CSS rule to your website CSS file

#your_div_id{

position: relative;

z-index: 1;

}

Good luck.

Yep. That was it. I figured it was CSS related and tried the z-index solution several times but the position: relative finally did the trick :)

Had to set the background to none as well. Thank you very much.

Hi Adekunle.

Thanks so much for using our extensions

But i explained the solution as clearly as possible in my reply #15

Because i don't know exactly your webpage HTML source code, so i can't give you exactly id of your element.

You must check it.

Or you can give me your URL with the module published, i will check it for you.

Hi there.

Please find in your file templates/rt_clarion/css/template.css this rule

.rt-container, .rt-block {

position: relative;

}

change it to

.rt-container, .rt-block {

position: relative;

z-index: 1;

}

The problem will be solved.
