KR-Joomla Conflict in Categories

6 posts in this topic

Both K2 and Joomla Categories look similar but are not corresponding.

Some modules Follow K2 while some others follow Joomla.

A beginner would take hours of trial and error to put the situation under control.

And there is more to it, at least in my installation.

Problem One

If I go to Components > K2 > Categories and change the name of an item (e.g. from IOS Center to Notes), It is not reflected in the K2 CATEGORY module. This causes confusion.

Problem Two

Joomla Categories under Joomla Page is a mess. If you click the 3rd item in the row, the page is displayed correctly. But if you click the 2nd or 3rd item, the left column is pushed down, and the page is totally disarrayed.

Any solutions? Thank you.

Hi there.

Thanks for your topic.

I'm Trong - Extensions Supporter.

I don't understand what BT extension are you saying about?

Can you tell me more clearly and give me some demo of problem?

I think I have been specific enough, if not I will be only too happy to make it clear visually with reference to the problems mentioned.

.

Problem One: K2 Category is the box that is located top left on the demo.

Joomla Page is a main (top) menu element. In the dropdown you have Joomla categories.

Hope this will help.

Thanks. Regards.

I'm sorry. I really don't know what our product your are mentioning.

Please tell me what module, component or template are you using.

And can you give me an URL or image of the problem?
