Module class suffix

7 posts in this topic

Hi Ivan.

I'm glad to show you how to use module class suffix

By default the module has a class that is mod_btquickcontact

If you have a suffix, ex: red

The module will have 2 classes mod_btquickcontact and mod_btquickcontact_red

Now take a look to file /modules/mod_btquickcontact/tmpl/layouts/default/css/btquickcontact.css

You will see many CSS rules, ex

.btqc-field-container label{

display: block;

width: 150px;

font-size: 12px; color: #505050;

float: left;

text-align: left;

}

this rule is applied to field label, if you want to change it to red color with your class suffix you can add this rule

.mod_btquickcontact_red .btqc-field-container label{

color: red;

}

Sometime, you need to use keyword !imporant like this

.mod_btquickcontact_red .btqc-field-container label{

color: red !important;

}

Notice that you also can change default style by override layout of the module.

Please read the module's document for detail.

Good luck.

I managed to handle suffix and custom css but as before that I have problem whit message text area in popup and module layout. It goes over module border and I can’t fix its width.
