BT Social Share does not post to Facebook!

Dear BT

I was your client and once demanded my money back. The truth is that for 14 months I'm trying to fix how facebook sees my page.

The og proprties are addes by the plugin unfortunately the description after shortening describes the last character as a (question mark in a diamond). Secondly facebook seems to ignore the og properties (debuger says):

1. Object at URL 'http://swietostworzenia.pl/2-aktualne/574-dusza-na-grzadkach' of type 'website' is invalid because a required property 'og:title' of type 'string' was not provided.

2. Curl Error : WRITE_ERROR Error while processing content unencoding: invalid block type

3. Object at URL 'http://swietostworzenia.pl/2-aktualne/574-dusza-na-grzadkach' of type 'website' is invalid because a required property 'og:title' of type 'string' was not provided.

Check what is included in my heading:

Hi.

I'm really sorry if you haven't been supported in a long time.

I don't know and remember why we has this mistake.

But I hope we still can have a chance to check this problem.

First, with unicode problem, please try this solution

Open file /plugins/content/bt_socialshare/bt_socialshare.php

Change all function "substr" to "mb_substring"

For other problem, can i check it directly on your site, i need access your backend to check your setting.

If you give me a chance, please give me your admin account via private message or extensions@bowthemes.com.

I will help you solve it.

Thanks so much

The fix You suggested results in:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function mb_substring() in public_html/plugins/content/bt_socialshare/bt_socialshare.php on line 115

The login details are sent.

ok the function is mb_substr and mb_substr_count respectively... Changed that but facebook will not see the changes. Also the plugin ignores the full text image and instead takes the next one.

Hi there.

As i checked and found out on internet, this problem maybe relate to a GZIP or Cache plugins or extension.

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/25405457/facebook-open-graph-required-property-ogtitle-of-type-string-was-not-provi

I checked your site for it but i haven't found out anything.

You don't use cache on your site.

But when i check cache list, there are 4 things cached.

Do you impress to GZIP or Cache on your site?

Hi there. Maybe we are going to solution closer.

I just check your site by FB debugger.

I see a message that let me know your FB Admin id is not correct.

It may be a FB Page id not a user id.

Please check it and get your correct user id.

If you don't use FB comment you don't need to provide it, please try to leave "FB APP ID" and "Moderator ID" empty.

After do that, please go go https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/

Enter your link click Debug button then click Fetch new scrape information button to clear cache of your page on FB

I hope it will work this time

Thanks
