53 posts in this topic

Hi, thanks for the reply. I refresh and it updates but the problem i'm having is that if I add a bigger logo and change the sizes on template.css the logo overlaps the contents in slider.

I am experiencing the same issue. Am unfortunately developing the site locally and not on the hosted domain. Is there any way an explanation can be provided here?

I join Marius in requesting a fresh link to the BT Logo PSD File. The original link posted on Page 1 of this thread is no longer available.

Thank you!

Si revisas este tema desde el inicio veras que hay una parte donde explico que archivo es el que modifique así que por favor léelo todo y veras que ahí está la respuesta.

Pero bueno mira es este archivo: templates.css

Ruta: templates/bt-arise/css/templates.css

Etiqueta:

h1.logo a{

background: url("../images/logo.png") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;

display: block;

height: 66px;

width: 208px;

}

Y Esta Otra:

h1.logo a{

background: url("../images/logo.png") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;

display: block;

height: xxx px; // xxx is your logo height

width: yyy px; // yyy is your logo width

}

Solo modifica los a tu gusto y listo. :)

Saludos.

Hi

Is there any way to move the logo image position on the Home to appear in a different place than where it is currently positioned. For example we would like to see the image appearing in the top left hand corner rather than where it is in the default template

thanks

kris

Thanks guys, much appreciated for the fast response. :woohoo:

Is the header logo a fixed size or can this be changed in the admin backend or must I change it in the css file? :S

Hi!

If you want to change width and height of Logo, please open "templates/bt-arise/css/templates.css" file :

-- Go to line 933 find element h1.logo a

-- Replace

h1.logo a{
background: url("../images/logo.png") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;
display: block;
height: 66px;
width: 208px;
}

with :

h1.logo a{
background: url("../images/logo.png") no-repeat scroll left center transparent;
display: block;
height: xxx px; // xxx is your logo height
width: yyy px; // yyy is your logo width
}

Go to your web site and Sing In as in administrator than go to:

1) Extensions

2) Template Manager

3) bt_arise

4) Layouts

5) On The “Default” choose “Edit

And now yes modified that for example like this:

<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

absolute

(This is where the LOGO is Located)

Thank you for your reply. Can you be little more explicit on what needs to be done here? As informed I need to move my logo from where it is to next to the header. I am attaching an image, can you please guide me on how to do this?

thanks

kris

Sorry I don’t have time to explain step by step on how to do it but is simple.

Create a new module position on the “ DEFAULT Layout “ and then write the CSS CODE on the “ templates.css ” to make appear exactly where you want to appear.

Good Luck.

Thank you for your reply. I am a joomla newbie trying this to use this great template. I see that there was some help offered for a similar question you had some time ago , unfortunately the link given there is not working to see how to create a new module. So any help is greatly appreciated.

ok so i see that a fix is being offered for the adjustment of the padding in the logo area since its overlapping the slider content, cant it just be posted on here instead of giving out personal login information? i mean for real.
